Brief Description of Position:
AVCON, INC., a civil engineering and planning firm, is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Marketing Manager for its Orlando, Florida headquarters.  This is a great opportunity for a savvy, creative up-and-comer looking to work directly with company ownership and manage the firm’s marketing efforts, to include:

•    Identifying new prospects and development of new client relationships;
•    Utilizing networking skills to encourage new business development;
•    Monitoring progress and contributing to ongoing development of marketing initiatives;
•    Supervising of marketing department personnel;
•    Overseeing website layout and design changes;
•    Overseeing database administration through Deltek CRM software;
•    Preparing annual marketing budget, department reports and presentations;
•    Coordinating proposal assembly, design and production;
•    Directing design and graphic layout for marketing materials;
•    Developing agendas and leading weekly marketing meetings;
•    Attending pre-proposal meetings as requested by executive staff;
•    Attending board meetings (OOCEA, GOAA, SAA, etc.) as requested by executive staff;
•    Maintaining all marketing specs, policy and procedure manuals including:
o    Web site policy manual
o    Deltek CRM policy manual
o    Color standards and specs
o    Filing system (electronic and hard copies)
•    Researching project procurement and partnering opportunities.
