SMPS Tampa Bay’s 2010 Holiday Event

SMPS Tampa Bay’s 2010 Holiday Event was a great success! Held on Thursday, December 16th at the Columbia Restaurant Centennial Museum/Hall.

The night was festive and fun, including live music from Alex Parnes, PSM of the FDOT District 7. Throughout the evening, a few special guests stopped by to support our efforts, including Susan Valdes, Chairman of the School Board of Hillsborough County; John Lyons, PSM, PE, Interim Director of Public Works for Hillsborough County; Tom Fass, PE, Manager, Hillsborough County Public Works; Dr. Jack Lamb, Board Member for the School District of Hillsborough County Board Member; and Dennis Jent, Assistant District Land Surveyor, FDOT District 7.

Overall, between the authentic Spanish cuisine, flowing sangria, live music, silent auction and Flamenco dancers finale, the night was a success. We raised approximately $3,000 for the Hillsborough County Children’s Services Emergency Shelter Care program.
